Software Developer

An exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Software Developer to join a growing FinTech business developing market-leading financial planning and modelling technology used by major financial institutions across the UK.
You'll join a highly skilled engineering team working on modern, complex applications, with exposure to cloud technology, CI/CD, financial modelling, and AI-assisted software development.

Skills required:

• Strong commercialNode.js, TypeScript and JavaScript experience
• Full-stack experience withReact and Node.js
• Experience withMongoDB, Redis or similar technologies
• Good knowledge ofGit, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Understanding of modern software engineering and Agile development
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Experience usingAI-assisted development tools would be highly beneficial

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build and maintain applications usingTypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js
• Work across the stack withReact, Node.js, MongoDB and Redis
• Develop and improve financial modelling applications
• Build and maintainCI/CD pipelines and containerised environments
• Use modernAI development tools to support coding, refactoring and debugging
• Review AI-generated code for security, performance and quality
• Develop automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests
• Work closely with Product and business stakeholders
• Take ownership of technical problems through to resolution
