The Opportunity

You'll play a pivotal role in defining the future-state architecture for a complex data estate, helping to modernise platforms, establish engineering standards and deliver scalable, secure and high-performing solutions.

Working with senior business and technology leaders, you'll own architectural direction across cloud data platforms, event-driven architectures, integration frameworks, platform engineering and automation capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Defining enterprise-wide platform architecture, standards and best practices
• Leading large-scale cloud data transformation initiatives
• Driving modernisation roadmaps across data, integration and platform engineering
• Designing scalable event-driven and streaming architectures
• Establishing governance, security and resilience frameworks
• Shaping CI/CD, automation and infrastructure-as-code strategies
• Collaborating with engineering teams to deliver data products at scale
• Influencing senior stakeholders and providing strategic technical leadership
