Senior Technology Manager – SaaS Solutions & Client Delivery

We are recruiting aSenior Technology Manager for an established international FinTech organisation undergoing significant technology transformation and growth.

This is a highly visible leadership position sitting at the intersection of Technology, Clients, Architecture, Product and Delivery. You'll lead the UK technology function responsible for the technical discovery, solution design and implementation of major new client engagements across the EMEA region.

This isn't a traditional internal IT management position.

You'll be responsible for ensuring complex enterprise clients are successfully taken frominitial technical discovery through solution design and into implementation, providing senior technology leadership throughout the journey.

Leading a team ofTechnical Managers and Senior Technical Consultants, you'll establish the standards, governance and processes required to deliver consistently high-quality client solutions.

You'll also work extensively with international Engineering and Development teams, ensuring requirements and solution designs are sufficiently robust to transition successfully into build and implementation.

The environment iscloud-based, API-driven and SaaS focused, making this particularly relevant to senior technology professionals fromFinTech, WealthTech or other enterprise SaaS organisations.

Your role will include:

• Leading technical discovery and solution design for major newSaaS client implementations
• Acting as a senior technology partner to enterprise clients across the EMEA region
• Understanding complex business and technical requirements and translating them into scalable solution designs
• Leading and developing a UK team of Technical Managers and Senior Technical Consultants
• Establishing effectivetechnology governance, standards and best practice across client implementations
• Ensuring technical requirements, architecture decisions and documentation are clearly defined before development begins
• Leading technical discovery workshops with senior client stakeholders
• Overseeing the integration and implementation of cloud-based SaaS products
• Ensuring solutions meet appropriate standards forsecurity, scalability, resilience and performance
• Managing team capacity, delivery priorities, timelines and inter-regional dependencies
• Working closely with Cloud Architecture, Engineering, Product and Delivery teams
• Coordinating effectively with international development and engineering teams
• Providing senior-level oversight across multiple concurrent client engagements
• Driving continuous improvement across technical discovery, documentation, governance and delivery

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong combination of technology leadership, SaaS experience, client engagement and delivery governance.

You'll ideally bring:

• Significant experience in a seniorTechnology, Technical Consulting, Solutions or Architecture leadership position
• Experience working for aFinTech, WealthTech or enterprise SaaS technology provider
• A strong track record of leadingtechnical discovery and solution design
• Experience implementing complex SaaS platforms for enterprise clients
• Strong knowledge oftechnology governance and structured delivery
• Experience leading and developing senior technical teams
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills
• The ability to engage credibly with senior client technology and business stakeholders
• Experience translating business requirements into clearly defined technical solutions
• Strong understanding of moderncloud architecture and infrastructure
• Experience working with geographically distributed development and engineering teams
• A strong understanding of APIs, integrations and modern software engineering practices

You don't need to be a hands-on developer, but you'll need sufficient technical depth to engage confidently with architects, engineers, consultants and client technology teams.

Exposure to technologies and concepts such as the following would be advantageous:

AWS | SaaS | APIs | Java | Spring Boot | JavaScript | Node.js | Docker | Kubernetes | CI/CD | Cloud Architecture | Microservices | Systems Integration

The ability to understand the architecture, challenge technical decisions and communicate complex technology clearly is more important than hands-on coding expertise.

Experience withinfinancial services technology would be particularly valuable.

You may have progressed from a software engineering, architecture or technical consulting background into broader leadership.

You'll be equally comfortable discussing technology with engineers and architects as you are presenting a proposed solution to senior client stakeholders.
