Senior OT Security Engineer
Salary: up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Royal Leamington Spa - 3/week
Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Full time

A globally established organisation is seeking an experienced Senior OT Security Engineer to support and enhance cyber security across large-scale industrial and manufacturing environments.

This Senior OT Security Engineer role will focus on strengthening OT security posture, improving visibility across operational technology environments, and optimising enterprise OT security tooling with a strong focus on the Armis Centrix platform.

Responsibilities for the Senior OT Security Engineer:

  • Manage and optimise the Armis Centrix platform across plant and OT environments
  • Review and improve OT security architecture, collector deployment and asset coverage
  • Standardise and enhance Armis configurations aligned to best practices
  • Tune alerts, reduce false positives and improve threat visibility
  • Improve asset inventory, vulnerability management and reporting accuracy
  • Design and implement new OT threat detection use cases
  • Develop reporting across assets, vulnerabilities and OT threats
  • Collaborate with plant teams, vendors and security stakeholders to align operational and security requirements
  • Support incident management, automation and OT security operations processes

Essential Skills for the Senior OT Security Engineer:

  • Strong experience within OT / ICS Security environments
  • Hands-on experience with the Armis Centrix platform or similar
  • Strong understanding of PLC, DCS, MES and SCADA systems
  • Strong knowledge of OT network infrastructure and architecture
  • Experience with vulnerability management and security operations within OT environments
  • Understanding of security technologies including: IAM, EDR, Firewalls, PKI, DLP, DAM
  • Experience with SIEM technologies such as: Google Chronicle, Splunk ES & QRadar
  • Experience with log source integration, correlation rules and parser development
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable Skills for the Senior OT Security Engineer:

  • Experience within manufacturing, utilities, healthcare or energy sectors
  • Exposure to AWS or cloud operations
  • Experience supporting global industrial environments
  • Experience within Agile delivery environments
