Senior Java Developer - BSS/OSS - HYBRID

We're looking for an experiencedSenior Developer to join a Software Engineering team delivering enterprise-scale solutions. This is a hands-on role where you'll design, develop and enhance high-performance applications while collaborating with architects, project managers and cross-functional teams. You'll also mentor junior developers and help drive engineering best practices.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance enterprise software solutions.
• Analyse business requirements and contribute to technical design.
• Develop new features and product enhancements.
• Carry out code reviews, unit testing and performance optimisation.
• Support integration testing, bug fixing, releases and deployments.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and estimations.
• Produce technical documentation and promote development best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Skills & ExperienceEssential

• Extensive experience developing enterprise applications usingJava.
• Strong knowledge ofSpring Boot andJ2EE.
• Experience buildingRESTful APIs,Microservices, and working withKubernetes orOpenShift.
• Strong SQL skills with experience ofRDBMS,SQL, andPL/SQL.
• Front-end development experience withAngular,JavaScript,Bootstrap,HTML5, andCSS3.
• Experience withJBoss orOracle 10gAS application servers.
• Proficiency withGit,Maven,Jenkins, debugging tools, and theSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working withinAgile development environments.
• Previous experience in a Senior Developer or technical leadership role.

Desirable

• Experience withJBoss Fuse,Apache Camel, DROOLS (JBoss Rules), or Business Intelligence platforms.
• Experience withC/Pro*C inUNIX environments.
• Knowledge ofTelecom BSS/OSS, Mediation, Billing, or Online Charging systems.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and DevOps pipelines.
• Experience working on high-volume enterprise systems within telecommunications, billing, or similar industries.
