Senior Front Office Production Engineer

Front Office Production Engineer - Capital Markets client - Permanent - Hybrid

Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Front Office Production Support Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting business-critical electronic trading platforms. This is a hands-on role where you'll troubleshoot complex production issues, drive operational improvements, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with Development, Infrastructure and Front Office stakeholders to ensure platform stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Front Office trading applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues across FIX, Linux, Windows, databases and networking.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Support client onboarding, OMS integrations and trade lifecycle workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global support and development teams.
• Participate in major releases, platform upgrades and cloud migration initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Production/Application Support experience within Financial Services (Buy-side, Sell-side, Exchange or Trading Platform).
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Expert knowledge of FIX Protocol.
• Strong SQL (MSSQL, Oracle or Sybase).
• Windows Server and networking (DNS, Firewalls, Routing, Load Balancers).
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
