Senior Developer – Node.Js, React, Restful API's
Central Birmingham (Hybrid, 1 Day Onsite per Week)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Excellent Benefits

A leading enterprise software company is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join its Birmingham-based development team. This hybrid role offers a strong balance of flexibility and collaboration, with just one day per week in the city centre office.
The successful candidate will design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance applications, working across the full stack using Node.js, React, and TypeScript. The role involves building and maintaining RESTful APIs, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, and ensuring high code quality through automated testing.
Key Requirements

5+ years’ commercial experience with Node.js and React
Strong experience developing RESTful APIs
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Azure DevOps
Experience using testing frameworksCore Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance cloud-based applications and services
Work across the full stack with a focus on Node.js and React
Collaborate with designers, product owners, and engineers in an Agile environment
Design and deliver reliable APIs and services using RESTful architecture
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure reliability and maintainability
Use Git for version control and Azure DevOps for task tracking and estimationYou will join a collaborative, agile team developing data-rich, user-friendly enterprise applications. The company has several exciting projects underway and is looking for developers who share their ambition and enthusiasm for building high-quality software.
