Senior Developer - Embedded Software | Acoustic Positioning Lead

We're looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer / Acoustic Positioning Lead to join an advanced engineering team developing next-generation underwater sensing and communications systems.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape technology strategy, embedded architecture, and product delivery across mission-critical acoustic systems. Working closely with product, engineering leadership, and stakeholders, you'll drive innovation across complex subsea platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead embedded software and acoustic positioning development

Define system architecture and technical roadmap

Drive product design across hardware, software, and test teams

Mentor engineers and lead complex technical delivery

Support modelling, simulation, and performance analysis

Work with customers and stakeholders to shape requirements

Improve DevOps, code reuse, and release processes

Key Skills

5+ years in underwater acoustics or embedded systems

Strong C/C++ and embedded architecture expertise

Experience leading multidisciplinary technical projects

Strong systems design, modelling, and analysis skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management
