Senior Data Platform Engineer – Remote

Our client is looking for an experiencedSenior Data / Platform Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team.

This isnot a traditional Azure Data Engineering role. They’re looking for someone with genuine, hands-on experience building and managingdata platforms, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, security and reliability.

You’ll be working across:

• Databricks & Azure Synapse
• Azure platform engineering –ADLS, Key Vault, networking, RBAC & private endpoints
• Infrastructure as Code – Pulumi, Terraform or Bicep
• CI/CD – GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps
• Databricks workspace administration, Unity Catalog & governance
• Monitoring & observability – Azure Monitor, Log Analytics & KQL
• Python / PySpark and scalable data pipelines
• Security, access management, automation and platform operations

We’re particularly interested in engineers with experience across the broader data platform, rather than those whose background is primarily focused on ADF or Synapse analytics.
