A Senior Collaboration Services Engineer opportunity with our global Collaboration Platforms team under Workplace Technology. Working with a group of other like-minded engineers to provide tech solutions to our users around the world.

The Senior Collaboration Services Engineer is responsible for delivering and maintaining the best in standards for Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform - IAM, Slack Enterprise Grid and vast roadmap of improvements, from internal automations like Slack bots to maintaining externally facing courier and restaurant site infrastructure.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Lead and participate in technical projects and deployments

Implement solutions for internal teams globally

Provide guidance and mentoring to other team members

Use best practice to improve products/services or processes

Optimise existing Google Workspace, GCP - IAM, Slack Enterprise, Enterprise configurations to meet changing requirements

Hold requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders

Lead functional projects or work streams within a project

Required to be on-call in a shift pattern basis

💪🏻 Your Profile & Recommended Experience

Experience working with Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid at a Super Admin level

Programming skills, experience with a language such as Python, Go, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Serverless Framework)

Experience with API Frameworks

Enjoy automating processes

Proven track record of delivering high quality work and driving forward best practices

Works independently and is able to solve complex problems

Uses best practice to improve products/services or processes.

Has subject matter expertise and experience

Stays up to date with new technology and existing software used in group

📊 Nice to have

Experience with Google Workspace automation (GAM, Apps Script) desired

Experience with Slack and ChatOps

Experience managing policies in Google Cloud Platform from at a IAM level
