Role Overview & Purpose

We are looking for a skilled Developer to design, maintain, enhance and support both new and existing internally built systems, primarily using Microsoft .NET technologies. You will work on developing high‑quality applications and creating robust interfaces between systems using the most appropriate methods (e.g., APIs, file transfers). The role also involves contributing to sustainable development practices and standards, and assisting with the design and development of SQL databases, views and stored procedures. You will collaborate closely with IT colleagues and wider Voyage Care teams to deliver successful and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new internally built .NET applications

Enhance and maintain existing .NET applications

Provide ongoing support for internally developed systems

Assist in the design and development of MS SQL databases, including views and stored procedures

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

Proven experience with current Microsoft development tools and technologies

Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, Blazor and Entity Framework

Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs

Familiarity with Azure DevOps

Strong T‑SQL skillsDesired (but not essential):

Experience with legacy technologies such as WebForms or VB.NET

Relevant degree or industry-recognised qualifications

Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics

Experience using AI-assisted coding tools
