What You'll Be Doing

- Design, build, and operate AI‑enabled software and platform solutions

- Develop and maintain API‑driven services and integrations that allow systems to work effectively with AI capabilities

- Contribute to the evolution of existing applications towards modern, service‑based and cloud‑native architectures

- Implement and operate integration mechanisms between software systems and AI platforms, including emerging patterns where appropriate

- Apply AI tools to support engineering productivity, while retaining full accountability for quality, safety, and correctness

- Review, validate, and guide AI‑generated code or output to ensure it meets engineering and operational standards

- Build, deploy, and operate services using TypeScript and Python, supported by modern DevOps practices

- Package and operate workloads using Kubernetes tooling (e.g. Helm) and infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g. Terraform)

- Work closely with engineers, platform teams, and AI specialists to deliver integrated solutions

Your Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior DevOps Engineer, or similar hands‑on role

- Excellent software engineering fundamentals, including system design, code quality, testing, and maintainability

- Solid experience building API‑first or service‑based systems

- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python

- Experience deploying and operating production systems using containerisation and automation tooling

- Comfort working across development, deployment, and operational concerns

- Confidence taking ownership of technical work and systems in live environments
