Location: Croydon (Remote-first, with occasional on-site attendance)

Rate: Up to £550 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Clearance: Active SC with a UK government agency, used within the last 6 months (essential)

Duration: 6 months initial

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in networking, Fortinet, and Cisco firewalls. You will play a key role in supporting secure, resilient platform operations across a government environment.

This position is predominantly remote, with only infrequent visits to the Croydon office as required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on DevOps support with a focus on network engineering and firewall technologies.

Configure, manage, and optimise Fortinet and Cisco firewall solutions.

Support secure infrastructure operations within a government‑grade environment.

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure systems remain secure, stable, and high‑performing.Required Experience

Strong background in DevOps engineering.

Deep knowledge of networking principles, firewalls, and secure infrastructure.

Proven experience with Fortinet and Cisco firewall technologies.

Active SC Clearance with recent usage (within the past 6 months).

Ability to operate in a high‑security, mission‑critical environment.Applicants must have SC clearance
