Role-QA Engineer in Platform Engineering

Location-London Hybrid

Role summary (important):

We are looking for a Senior Platform / Infrastructure Quality Engineer with strong QE governance, network, performance, and resilience testing experience, ideally from a banking or regulated environment.

Key focus

* 10+ years overall QA experience

* Hands‑on experience in platform / infrastructure testing (not just application testing)

* Strong QE governance: test strategy, risk‑based testing, acceptance criteria, QA sign‑off

* Experience validating network, performance, and infrastructure changes (latency, throughput, baseline vs post‑change)

* Exposure to BCP / DR / Failover / Failback testing from a QA standpoint

* Prior experience in banking / financial services environments

* Comfortable working independently and directly with client stakeholders

Strong plus (but not elimination criteria):

* Azure platform exposure (VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute – validation focus)

* Network testing tools (e.g., iperf)

* APM tools, Azure DevOps, Jira

* Automation/scripting for validation (Playwright, PowerShell, Python)
