Power Electronics Engineer | £40-60k | Newport | On-Site

A very stable & growing company is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to research, design, and develop their next generation of power modules.

Responsibilities as a Power Electronics Engineer:

  • Full-life cycle design & development of new products

  • Thermal & efficiency optimisation

  • Circuit analysis & PCB layout

    Required skills:

  • 3-5 years experience in Power Electronics design

  • Deep understanding of common DC-DC topologies

  • Expertise in component selection, including power MOSFETs, magnetic components, and filtering solutions.

  • Knowledge of high-density PCB layout techniques for power circuits

    Desirable skills:

  • Experience with telecoms power systems, LED drivers, or batter charging circuits
