Platform Engineer (Azure, Terraform, DevOps) – Rebuild a cloud SaaS platform using Terraform IaC

 

Hybrid role – 1-2 days per week in the office in London.

 

A Platform Engineer (Azure, Terraform, DevOps) is required by a growing SaaS company delivering a compliance platform in Azure. This Platform Engineer (Azure, Terraform, DevOps) role sits in a cloud team responsible for maintaining and rebuilding the platform over the next 9–12 months.

 

To be considered for this Platform Engineer (Azure, Terraform, DevOps) role, you should have:

Strong Terraform experience running at scale in production environments

Proven experience managing Infrastructure as Code in Azure

Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines

Monitoring experience with Prometheus or Grafana

Azure IaaS, automation (Ansible and PowerShell), and high availability experience

AZ-104 or similar certifications 

This Platform Engineer (Azure, Terraform, DevOps) role focuses on moving the platform to 90% Infrastructure as Code. You’ll also be supported with Azure and Terraform certifications.

 

Day to day, as a Platform Engineer (Azure, Terraform, DevOps), you’ll spend 80% of your time on projects and 20% on BAU. You’ll build and manage Terraform deployments, develop pipelines, and improve monitoring. You’ll work closely with an IaC Architect to scale IaC and help rebuild the full platform. You’ll also support integrations and troubleshoot issues across the environment.

£65,000 – £75,000 + bonus

Hybrid (1 day onsite, remote considered)

42-hour week with flexible hours

On-call (1 in 6) with allowance

Full platform rebuild project

Training and certifications supported

Modern Azure environment
