Network Engineer – (with growth into SD-WAN, SASE & Security)

We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our growing team in London, working on cutting-edge projects in networks, SD-WAN, SASE, and cyber security. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to broaden your expertise across cloud and wider IT solutions.

What you’ll do

Design, implement, and support enterprise-grade networking solutions across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.

*

Work with SD-WAN and SASE technologies, ensuring resilient, secure, and scalable connectivity for customers.

*

Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP) and manage firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.

*

Collaborate closely with solution architects, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions.

*

Document technical designs and provide input into solution standards and best practices.

*

Stay involved across the project lifecycle, from design to delivery, ensuring high-quality implementations.

What we’re looking for

*

Strong background in networking (L2/L3 switching, IP routing, wireless principles).

*

Solid understanding of network security (firewalls, IPSec, SIEM, Zero Trust concepts).

*

Experience in at least two key areas: networks, cloud, or security.

*

Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage complex technical issues.

*

Strong communication skills – able to explain technical solutions to both engineers and business stakeholders.

*

Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working on multiple projects in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

*

Familiarity with SD-WAN and SASE solutions.

*

Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).

*

Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto, AWS).

This role is ideal for a Network Engineer who wants to grow into next-generation networking and security. You’ll gain exposure to innovative technologies, work on business-critical projects, and develop into a subject-matter expert within a collaborative and forward-looking team.
