Your new company and role
You'll be working with a well‑established digital consultancy that is scaling its delivery capability to support a key end‑client project. They are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join the team for an initial 3‑month engagement starting in early March.
You'll play a central role in both the definition and delivery of a set of business‑critical features within an existing .NET and Umbraco platform. This includes participation in technical workshops, shaping the scope of upcoming work, and then taking full ownership of delivering features independently once requirements are agreed.
The environment includes .NET, Umbraco, Azure Functions, and multiple external API integrations across hospitality and payment services.
What you'll need to succeed

Strong commercial experience with C# and modern .NET
Solid hands‑on experience with Umbraco CMS
Proven exposure to Azure Functions and serverless development
Strong background in API integrations, ideally including hospitality, booking, or payment platforms
Ability to input effectively during workshops, scoping sessions, and technical planning
Confidence to work autonomously, delivering features with minimal oversight
Ability to work within an existing architecture and contribute to quality, performance, and maintainabilityWhat you'll get in return

A 3‑month contract with extension potential
The chance to work with a respected digital consultancy on a high‑visibility project
An opportunity to contribute both technically and strategically during definition phases
Autonomy and ownership over feature delivery
Remote‑friendly working and flexibility around working practicesWhat you need to do now

Where to Advertise Cloud Computing Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise cloud computing jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and channels that reach AWS, Azure, GCP and cloud-native engineering talent. The candidate pool is large relative to other deep tech disciplines but highly segmented — cloud architects, DevOps engineers, platform engineers, FinOps specialists and cloud security professionals each occupy distinct communities with different job search behaviours, certification profiles and salary expectations. General job boards reach a broad audience but struggle to differentiate between these disciplines, producing high application volumes but low candidate quality for specialist cloud roles. This guide, published by CloudComputingJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise cloud computing roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
