C++ Software Engineer - Remote

We're working with an ethical fintech that's gaining huge traction. They’re growing their small, close-knit engineering team and are looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer with a solid C++ background but happy to work with other tools and languages too including React, TypeScript, AWS, Python and AI assisted development.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain modern C++ code
* Build Python microservices and tooling
* Develop React / TypeScript frontends
* Work with AWS, Docker, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
* Support the deployment and scaling of AI / ML services
* Write high-quality, tested and secure code
Requirements
* Strong commercial C++ 17/20/23 experience
* Experience with Python
* Experience with AWS/cloud platforms
* Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and CMake
* Strong Git, testing and Linux/CLI skills
* Experience with Cursor and/or Claude Code
Desirable: Open Banking, fintech/payments, React, OAuth2/OIDC or DynamoDB experience.
