Java Full Stack Developer (Front End Focused)

📍Manchester (3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)

A well-established IT firm is looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join a high-profile banking client. While this role covers the full stack, we are looking for a candidate with a strong emphasis on Front End development to contribute to a large-scale development project.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications from the UI to the database.

Front End Focus: Create sophisticated user interfaces and layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React or Angular).

Back End Development: Develop server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

Database Management: Design and work with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases and ORMs.

Quality Control: Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.

Agile Collaboration: Work with designers, product owners, and other developers in a fast-paced Scrum environment

Essential Skills

Proven expertise in Architecture Patterns and Styles and Java.

Advanced proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Deep experience with Spring / Spring Boot and Front End frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).

Strong experience in RESTful API development and consumption.

Familiarity with Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.

1 Year Fixed Term Employment | Manchester Based - 3 days in the office | Salary up to £65K
