Head of InfoSec

CISO / Head of Information Security / Cyber Security Director
We’re partnered with a leading international SaaS organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation, and we’re looking for a high-impact Interim CISO to step in and lead security at scale. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused contract, ideal for someone who can quickly assess, stabilise and elevate a global security function across a complex, cloud-first environment. You’ll be operating at both board and technical level, driving immediate improvements across risk, compliance, architecture and incident readiness.
This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, bring structure to a fast-paced environment and deliver measurable outcomes within the first 3–6 months.
Key Skills & Experience Required

• 
  Proven track record operating as an Interim CISO / Head of InfoSec / Cyber Security Lead within global SaaS or technology environments
  
• 
  Deep expertise across ISO27001, NIST, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS, with experience aligning and embedding controls across multi-region businesses
  
• 
  Strong experience delivering and optimising ISMS / security governance frameworks at pace
  
• 
  Ability to lead enterprise-wide risk programmes, including risk assessments, control design and board-level risk reporting
  
• 
  Advanced knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), including Zero Trust and secure architecture principles
  
• 
  Proven experience embedding DevSecOps / Secure SDLC into engineering-led environments
  
• 
  Hands-on leadership of major incident response, including ransomware and breach scenarios across global teams
  
• 
  Strong experience with third-party / supplier risk management in complex SaaS ecosystems
  
• 
  Experience leading internal and external audits, certification programmes and customer security assessments
  
• 
  Solid understanding of global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA and equivalents)
  
• 
  Ability to rapidly assess current state, identify gaps and deliver a clear, prioritised security roadmap
  
• 
  Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence C-suite, board and technical teams
  
• 
  Experience operating in high-growth, fast-paced or transformation environments
  
• 
  Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or CCSP highly desirable
