Full-Stack Engineer

Remote (UK/EU)

The Role

Are you a full-stack developer with a startup mentality who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments? Do you love taking ownership, being proactive, and driving innovation rather than just executing tasks?

We're looking for a startup-minded full-stack engineer who will be a key contributor in collaboratively shaping our client's technical direction as they continue to innovate and scale. This isn't a role where you execute someone else's roadmap - you'll be part of defining what gets built next. If you're entrepreneurial, adaptable, and excited to shape the future of private market infrastructure alongside an ambitious team, this role is for you.

About the Company

Our client is an AI-native fintech platform headquartered in Copenhagen, building leading-edge technology infrastructure for private market secondary transactions - bringing public-market sophistication like Dark Pools, IOI matching, and AI-powered Order Management Systems to private secondaries. Their institutional clients include some of the most prominent names in pre-IPO tech. The company is profitable, its pipeline is compounding, and it's now building out the team to match that momentum.

What You'll Do

Working directly with the CTO and technical team, you'll:

  • Build production-grade infrastructure - architect and develop robust backend systems and APIs as the company continues to build out a robust foundation for its codebase
  • Contribute to AI-driven solutions - collaborate on Applied AI projects, pushing state-of-the-art applications in finance while gaining hands-on experience in the field
  • Shape product direction - bring entrepreneurial thinking and drive innovation as the company expands its capabilities and defines the future of private market infrastructure
  • Grow in a dynamic setting - be part of a fast-paced startup environment where your role will expand as the platform evolves, with real opportunities to take on more leadership responsibility

Qualifications

  • Strong full-stack development skills with an emphasis on backend architecture and modern tech stacks
  • Experience with modern frameworks, API development, and cloud deployment
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in private markets and applied AI
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and meet project deadlines
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Strong Advantages

  • Prior startup experience, especially in fintech
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI tech stacks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Langfuse, vector databases, Vercel)
  • Experience building and deploying production-grade APIs in cloud environments
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn about private markets and financial technology
