Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a proactive, customer obsessed and team oriented Executive Assistant to support the VP of UKI. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid environment, while maintaining great flexibility, a sense of humor and composure. The candidate will work autonomously on many projects as required and possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision.

Amazon EAs are the primary point of contact and information flow to and from a variety of teams, clients and partners to our senior leaders - we seek to hire and then offer continual development to the very best EAs ready to work in our fast paced, customer focused organization.

We are looking for motivated candidates with experience of supporting executives at the VP level and who can demonstrate expertise with complex diary management, travel arrangements and expense recording as well as the set-up, budgeting and active management of small to mid-scale events for their teams.

Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple requests is critical. Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives is imperative. A flexible approach is a must, and the ability to change direction at a moment’s notice.

As a community, the EAs work together to deliver large scale events and to share workload when priorities demand additional support - commitment to teamwork is essential.


Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate complex calendars and scheduling with professionalism and care
- Support and organize team activities including meetings, events, and collaborative sessions
- Manage domestic and international travel arrangements including logistics and expense reporting
- Partner with internal teams including Recruiting, Facilities, and HR to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor and facilitate completion of key deliverables and action items

A day in the life
As Executive Assistant to our UKI VP, you'll orchestrate a fast-paced environment requiring exceptional organizational skills and discretion. You'll manage complex domestic and international travel, coordinate internal and external meetings with C-suite executives and global customers, and liaise with PR teams for media appearances and industry events. The role demands strategic calendar management across multiple time zones, organization of quarterly business reviews and team off-sites, while serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. You'll be crucial in enabling the VP's effectiveness while ensuring seamless operations across the UKI organization.
