Enterprise Security Architect - Manchester (Hybrid Working)

Solid experience - SOC, SIEM, Network Security, Cloud Security

Salary - £85,000 - £91,000 + Benefits

Our client is looking for an Enterprise Security Architect who wants to apply their skills and experience within an exciting and vibrant Managed Services organisation. You will be responsible for defining, governing, and assuring security architecture across complex enterprise environments. This role ensures that security capabilities, controls, and design patterns align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and target‑state architecture.

Key Skills

Broad understanding of enterprise‑scale security architecture with deep expertise in at least two areas (e.g., SOC/SIEM, IAM, network security, cloud security, data protection).

Strong knowledge of cloud security architectures (Azure / AWS / hybrid), security tooling, and modern security operations.

Familiarity with established architecture methodologies (TOGAF, SABSA) and Secure by Design principles.

Ability to translate complex security concepts for non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Strong consulting capabilities: requirements capture, stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation.Duties

Act as the interface between the client and internal technical teams.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Conduct solution design based on client needs, internal offerings, and budgets.

Work with project managers and BAU teams to deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions.

Own and be accountable for the technical delivery, supported by SMEs.

Hand over solutions to operational teams where needed.Security clearance: To successfully join our client's team, it is essential to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. This requires continuous residency in the UK for the past 5 years, among other eligibility criteria. Please be prepared to answer questions regarding your security clearance during the recruitment process
