DevOps Engineer (Performance Testing)

📈 6 Months Contract + extension

💰£600 per day (Inside IR35)

📍Remote working

A leading global consultancy is looking for an experienced hybrid devOps and Performance specialist to superhead critical national infrastructure projects. You will essentially ensure the resilience and scalability of a massive cloud-native environment. This is a high-visibility role where you will bridge the gap between infrastructure stability and rigorous performance validation.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & CI/CD: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment cycles.

Performance Engineering: Lead the charge on system reliability by executing complex performance test runs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing upgrades.

System Integrity: Proactively monitor the service environment, diagnosing faults within the cloud infrastructure and delivering detailed technical reports.

Collaboration: Work as a core member of the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless environmental upgrades and stability.Essential Skills

Cloud Infrastructure: Deep hands-on experience with AWS.

Orchestration: Proven expertise in Kubernetes and containerized environments.

Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

CI/CD Tooling: Expert knowledge of Jenkins and Concourse.

Performance Testing: Extensive experience writing test strategies and using tools such as JMeter, K6, Postman, or Swagger.

Infrastructure as Code: Solid experience with Ansible.

Observability: Proficiency with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK).

Testing Philosophy: A background in both manual testing and automated performance validation.

📈 6 Months Contract + extension | 💰£600 per day (Inside IR35) |📍Remote working
