£500/day (Outside IR35)

DevOps Engineer needed with both SC and NPPV3 Security Clearance, plus strong AWS Cloud platforms experience.

6 Month Rolling Contract based in Croydon. Start ASAP in April/May 2026.

Hybrid Working - 3-4 days/week remote (WFH) + 1-2 days/week working from the office in Croydon.

A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation business specialising in large-scale Government projects:

DevOps Engineer needed to build, automate + delivering highly available, secure + scalable AWS Cloud environments.

In-depth AWS Services expertise including: EC2, RDS, Aurora PG, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and Amazon Linux 2023.

DevOps Tools: Terraform, Jenkins, Docker + Groovy pipelines experience.

Scripting: Shell, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Java.

PostgreSQL admin, performance tuning, HA, replication, backup/DR, Git, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.

Monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus + Alert Manager.

Key Tasks: troubleshooting, root cause analysis, 24/7 production, managing technical escalations, leading workshops, supporting Agile teams + removing delivery blockers.

Advantageous Skills: Linux Sys Admin, AD, networking, Firewalls, switch config/patching, AWS/Azure Certifications
