DevOps Engineer – West London (Hybrid) – Windows, Build, C++, CI/CD

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their development team, working closely with project and client teams to support build and testing infrastructure. Their projects primarily use C++, cmake/qmake, and Qt across multiple platforms, including Android and iOS.

Key activities include:

+ Maintaining and improving build systems (Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Incredibuild)

+ Setting up and managing build/test servers using Ansible and Docker

+ Enhancing automation, scalability, and resilience of infrastructure

+ Developing monitoring and reporting for build performance and quality

+ Supporting code signing tools and deployment accounts

+ Assisting with GitLab integrations and issue tracker syncing

The role also involves building internal tools and automation to streamline processes, such as dashboards for code metrics and resource tracking, reporting tools for project insights, and systems for managing licenses and onboarding/offboarding.

Skills/Requirement

+ 3+ years’ experience in DevOps or software engineering (Python, Java, Ansible)

+ Experience with Windows-based build environments

+ Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)

+ Knowledge of one or more: C++, JavaScript

+ Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team

Location: West London (3 days onsite)

Salary: Up to £65k
