Data Engineer (Python, SQL) £38K
Coventry based - Hybrid working - 4 days onsite working
I'm currently working with an established retail business that's investing heavily in its data function and is looking to add a Data Engineer to the team.
This is a great opportunity to join a business where you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining data solutions that support business-critical decision making across the organisation. You'll be working closely with a collaborative team, helping to build robust data pipelines, improve data quality and deliver reliable reporting and insights.
What they're looking for:- Strong experience withPython,SQL and Excel
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines
- Knowledge of data modelling and database design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:- Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks or similar)
- Power BI
- Git or Azure DevOps
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
- Exposure to retail, eCommerce or customer data
This is a4 days per week onsite position based inCoventry, offering the chance to work within a supportive team that's genuinely investing in its data capabilities.
