Job Title: CrowdStrike SME / Endpoint Security Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite)
Type: 6-Month Contract (with possible extension)
Availability: Immediate

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CrowdStrike SME to join a leading cybersecurity team on a contract basis. This role focuses on managing, optimizing, and supporting CrowdStrike Falcon EDR across enterprise and cloud environments. You will play a key role in protecting endpoints, strengthening defenses, and supporting incident response, including 24/7 on-call support for critical incidents (P1/P2).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage CrowdStrike Falcon EDR across server, endpoint, and cloud environments.

  • Monitor and analyze alerts, conduct triage, and respond to advanced threats.

  • Lead investigations into security incidents and collaborate with SOC and wider security teams.

  • Identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation, and develop security policies.

  • Deliver reports and dashboards on threat trends and compliance metrics.

  • Provide guidance and leadership on BAU operations and project initiatives.

  • Enhance cloud security posture management (AWS and related tools).

    Your Profile
    Essential Skills

  • Proven experience with CrowdStrike Falcon EDR.

  • Strong knowledge of malware analysis, threat intelligence, and incident response.

  • Familiarity with SIEM solutions and threat hunting methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience with CSPM tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Centre).

  • Cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO) and AWS security best practices.

  • Scripting/automation skills (Python, Java, or similar).

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

    Desirable Skills

  • CrowdStrike certifications.

  • Experience with other EDR/AV solutions (Microsoft Defender, Trend Micro, etc.).

  • Security certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GPEN, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate).

  • Experience in agile, cross-functional teams
