Radius is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect with proven hands-on solution design and vendor analysis supporting the Senior European IT & Data Director. The role produces pragmatic designs, option analyses, and integration outlines across a hybrid cloud/on-prem landscape, partnering closely with Heads of Networks and Infrastructure, Application Ops/Change, and Data. They will challenge vendor proposals, and translate business requirements into actionable, cost-conscious solution options aligned to target state.

A hands-on role providing enterprise architectural insights.

the build, improvement, and maintenance of the enterprise services software used by both internal and external stakeholders.

Work on the design of integrating multiple cloud and physical on-premises networks while ensuring the security by design concept. Own and align our IT and Information Management Strategy's with the organisation mission. You must have a good understanding of both Cloud and on-premises technologies.

Communicate how the technology strategy follows and enables both current and future developments.

Work with divisional directors, department heads and product owner\architects to understand the business functions, identifying opportunities to optimise our use of technology.

This role will join during a time of transition for the business so the role will need to be flexible. Identify long term solutions while managing short term solution that have been put in place to ensure Business as usual is not impacted.

Key Accountabilities

Solution Design: Produce high-level and low-level solution options, integration diagrams, and impact assessments; ensure security-by-design and alignment to standards.

Requirements Translation: Work with business stakeholders to convert needs

3–5 years in Solution Design / Technical BA / Systems Engineering / Integration.

Practical experience across cloud and on-prem (e.g., Azure/AWS, VMware, networking basics).

Able to draft high-level designs, integration maps, and Option A/B/C analyses with costs/risks.

Experience engaging vendors: reviewing SoWs/estimates, challenging assumptions, and clarifying demarcation.

Working knowledge of security-by-design, identity/IAM, and data protection principles.

Strong documentation skills (diagrams, decision logs, design packs).
