Job Opportunity: Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Security Architect to secure large-scale, multi-cloud, and Kubernetes-based environments. In this role, you will be a specialist responsible for defining and enforcing security standards, hardening baselines, and embedding security into design and automation by partnering with DevOps, networking, and SOC teams.

Role Overview

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid: 2 days/week from office)

Type: Full-time (FTE)

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Guardrails: Define and enforce cloud security reference architectures based on Zero Trust and Least Privilege principles.

Security as Code: Build and maintain Security as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep, alongside policy as code.

Container Security: Own the security posture of GKE, AKS, and EKS workloads and define security baselines for images, registries, and runtimes.

Cluster Hardening: Secure clusters through configuration of RBAC, Network Policies, and Admission Controllers.

Posture Management: Deploy and manage CSPM, CNAPP, and CWPP solutions across multi-cloud environments.

Infrastructure Optimization: Optimize cloud-native controls including IAM, WAFs, VPC controls, and data protection (KMS/Vault).

Incident Response: Investigate and respond to cloud security incidents, providing triage, containment, and forensic support.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5+ years in Information Security, with 3+ years focused on Cloud security and 2+ years on Kubernetes and Container security.

Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with at least two major public clouds (GCP and Azure preferred; AWS and OCI a plus).

Mandatory Technical Skills: Network Security Architecture, Penetration Testing, and Red Teaming.

Scripting: Proficiency in Python (preferred), Bash, or Go.

Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.

Preferred Certifications: CKS, CISSP, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Azure Security Engineer.

Soft Skills

Proven ability to influence engineering teams without direct authority.

Experience working within multinational corporate environments
