We're looking for a Lead Cloud Operations Engineers to join a secure operations team supporting critical national infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with modern cloud and platform technologies while providing frontline operational support within a mission-critical setting.

What you'll have the opportunity to do as a Cloud Operations Engineer
• Provide first-line and second-line operational support for secure cloud platforms and users
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform and Linux-based issues in live environments
• Monitor systems, manage incidents and follow runbooks for high-priority events
• Support Kubernetes-based platforms and Infrastructure as Code environments
• Work with ticketing systems to document issues, resolutions and escalations
• Contribute to continuous improvement by reducing operational toil and improving procedures
• Develop deep technical expertise in air-gapped cloud architecture and secure operations

About the Candidate

The right Cloud Operations Engineer will have:
• Experience in a production support, operations or cloud infrastructure role
• Strong Linux fundamentals and experience troubleshooting server and network issues
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)
• An interest in secure, regulated environments and mission-critical systems
• S/C Clearable (5+ Years Continuous UK address history)
