Cloud Engineer

New permanent opportunity for a security cleared Cloud Native Engineer for a leading national security consultancy in Cheltenham.

• Up to £85,000 based on experience
• Cheltenham Location – hybrid working model
• Expertise required in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Java/Python, team leadership
• Must already hold active SC Clearance and be eligible for eDV clearance.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will design and deliver innovative cloud-native solutions using AWS services and modern software engineering practices. You’ll lead end-to-end implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams while providing technical leadership and mentorship at a senior level. With a strong focus on scalability, DevOps, and Agile methodologies, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers and help drive continuous improvement across projects.

Some responsibilities include:
