As part of this growth, we're looking to speak with AWS Cloud Engineers across a range of seniority levels, from mid-level engineers through to experienced senior professionals, who are passionate about cloud-native development, automation, and modern software engineering practices.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment where you'll work on large-scale cloud platforms, serverless architectures, and business-critical applications while helping shape best practices across engineering teams.

The Role

You'll be involved in designing, building, and operating modern cloud-native solutions on AWS, working closely with product, platform, DevOps, and engineering teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and developing serverless applications using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, and SNS
  • Building and maintaining scalable APIs and event-driven architectures
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
  • Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
  • Building and improving CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tooling
  • Supporting platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices
  • Applying cloud security principles, including IAM, least-privilege access, and secrets management
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions
What We're Looking For

We're interested in engineers who can demonstrate experience in some or all of the following:
  • Commercial experience building and operating solutions on AWS
  • Strong development skills using Node.js, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, IAM, and S3
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and secure application design
  • Experience working within Agile software delivery environments
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer Associate, or DevOps Engineer are highly desirable
Desirable Experience

Any exposure to the following would be advantageous:
  • React or modern front-end frameworks
  • Java, Go, C#, Rust, or other strongly typed languages
  • Internal platform engineering or developer platform ownership
  • Event-driven architectures using EventBridge, Kinesis, Kafka, SQS, or SNS
  • Contact centre, voice, or AWS Connect environments
What's on Offer
  • Remote-first working across the UK
  • Exposure to large-scale cloud transformation and engineering projects
  • Modern technology stack and engineering-led culture
  • Clear progression opportunities across multiple seniority levels
  • Ongoing investment in training, development, and certifications
  • The opportunity to work alongside highly experienced cloud and software engineering professionals

Where to Advertise Cloud Computing Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise cloud computing jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and channels that reach AWS, Azure, GCP and cloud-native engineering talent. The candidate pool is large relative to other deep tech disciplines but highly segmented — cloud architects, DevOps engineers, platform engineers, FinOps specialists and cloud security professionals each occupy distinct communities with different job search behaviours, certification profiles and salary expectations. General job boards reach a broad audience but struggle to differentiate between these disciplines, producing high application volumes but low candidate quality for specialist cloud roles. This guide, published by CloudComputingJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise cloud computing roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
