Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Clerk to work for our client based in Colwick, Nottingham.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Weighbridge Clerk working as part of our clients admin team but also supporting site operations.

    Salary: £12.50 per hour

    Duties of a Weighbridge Clerk will include:

  • Responsible for operating a weighbridge

  • Using ELEMOS (a platform specifically designed for the waste & recycling industry)

  • Accurately recording vehicle weights as well as waste coming into the site

  • Managing the flow of traffic within a designated area

  • Handling administrative tasks such as answering the phone, ensuring visitors wear correct PPE, reporting any near misses/close calls, dealing with customer enquiries, validating paperwork

  • Inputting data into systems and spreadsheets, producing waste/bin quantity reports daily to ensure containers are being utilised and emptied efficiently

  • Assisting with the upkeep of the weighbridge and surrounding area, including reporting any maintenance issues

  • Checking incoming loads for compliance with site permits and waste regulations

    In order to be considered for the role of Weighbridge Clerk:

  • Previous Weighbridge Clerk experience

  • Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate with drivers and customers

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording data and completing documentation

  • Computer literacy

  • Understanding of site rules and regulations, particularly in industries such as waste management

    Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday (30 minute unpaid lunch break)
