Our client based in Skipton are looking to recruit a warehouse operative to work with them on a temporary to permanent contract. The main purpose of the role will be to assist with the despatch of their product and work in a small team environment to ensure orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time.

THE ROLE:

  • Picking stock, heavy lifting upto 25kg

  • Picking using pick sheets following alphanumeric codes to locate stock

  • Palletizing products, wrapping pallets, labelling pallets and loading onto containers

    THE CANDIDATE:

  • Must be physically fit due to nature of the role (heavy stock up to 25kg lifts required to be lifted alone)

  • FLT Reach or Counterbalance license is advantegous

  • Must be able to work in a team

  • Must be able to read and write in English efficiently

  • Must be able to read alphanumeric codes

    THE SALARY AND BENEIFTS:

  • £12.21 per hour rising after 12 weeks

  • 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday with an earlier finish on Fridays

  • Free car parking

  • Local bus routes, fuel stations and eateries
