UFT Test Engineer – Contract (Office-Based, UK)
Contract: 12 months | Rate: £340/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Onsite – 5 days per week in office

We’re looking for an experienced UFT Test Engineer to join a leading global technology consultancy, working on large-scale enterprise projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of test automation frameworks, drive quality across multiple teams, and work with modern CI/CD environments.

Key Responsibilities



Design and develop robust automation frameworks using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).

*

Write and execute automation scripts using VBScript.

*

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

*

Collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to optimize coverage and efficiency.

*

Monitor and report on execution results, defects, and quality metrics.

*

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Skills & Experience

*

Strong hands-on experience with UFT and VBScript.

*

Proven ability to design and implement scalable automation frameworks.

*

Experience integrating test automation with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.

*

Solid understanding of STLC and QA methodologies.

*

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

*

Ideally 10+ years of experience in automation testing
