Test Manager – SC Cleared - Inside IR35
SR2 is recruiting a Test Manager to support an ongoing government transformation programme.
This role will support the definition and delivery of the testing strategy across a multi-supplier environment, ensuring high standards of quality, governance and collaboration between internal teams and external consulting partners.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and support Test Strategy
Develop and maintain test policies, plans and governance controls, ensuring consistent quality across suppliers.
Establish and manage the test tool stack, environments and data management processes – including the use of Azure DevOps and AWS toolsets.
Select, implement and oversee appropriate test tools and automation frameworks, balancing efficiency and compliance.
Oversee test planning and execution for DVT, SVT, ORT and UAT phases, ensuring traceability to business and technical requirements.
Review and assure supplier test artefacts – plans, reports and defect logs – providing challenge and oversight to ensure integrity of outcomes.
Manage test data and environments, ensuring availability, quality and security align with programme requirements.
Engage with senior stakeholders across multiple delivery partners to foster collaboration and resolve cross-supplier issues swiftly.Experience Required:

5 + years’ Test Management experience on large-scale digital or transformation programmes.
Demonstrable experience defining and delivering test strategies in complex, multi-supplier environments.
Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, with additional exposure to AWS environments.
Experience managing and mentoring testing teams across suppliers and disciplines.
Proven ability to design test policies, frameworks and tool stacks for enterprise-scale programmes.
Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, capable of working with senior client and supplier representatives.
Current SC clearance (essential)
