This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in complex ERP environments, enjoys working closely with business stakeholders and functional SMEs, and can provide structured, hands-on leadership across System, Integration and End-to-End testing phases.

The Role
As ERP Test Lead, you will support the Test Manager in planning, coordinating and assuring all testing activities across the programme. You will work across functional workstreams, integrations, reporting and data migration to ensure the Infor solution is robust, fit for purpose and ready for deployment.
You will act as a key point of coordination between business SMEs, technical teams, project managers and programme leadership to ensure structured, traceable and risk-based testing is delivered.

Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Governance
• Support the Test Manager in developing and maintaining detailed ERP Test Plans and Schedules.
• Assist in defining scope across Infor modules, integrations and business processes.
• Contribute to phase entry and exit criteria for System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E) testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide structured status reporting, highlighting progress, risks and defect trends.
Requirements & Design Assurance
• Conduct static reviews of requirements and solution designs to ensure clarity and testability.
• Validate coverage of business requirements across configured Infor modules.
• Collaborate with project teams to define clear, testable acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements.
Test Design & Coordination
• Support the creation and quality assurance of detailed test scenarios and scripts.
• Ensure end-to-end business process coverage across workstreams.
• Coordinate integration testing between Infor and third-party systems.
• Support validation of data migration and reporting outputs.
• Oversee defect management activities, ensuring timely triage and resolution tracking.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with SMEs to prepare for and execute test cycles.
• Provide guidance and structure to business users during test execution.
• Facilitate defect review discussions and support impact analysis.
• Participate actively in project stand-ups, planning sessions and reviews.

About You
You are a collaborative and delivery-focused Test Lead with experience supporting large-scale ERP or enterprise application implementations. You are confident working in structured programme environments and comfortable operating in a supporting leadership capacity alongside a Test Manager.
Essential Experience
• Proven experience in a Test Lead, Senior Test Analyst or QA Lead role within ERP or large enterprise system delivery.
• Experience supporting System Integration Testing, End-to-End testing and UAT phases.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes and cross-functional integrations.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, XRAY or equivalent.
• Experience operating within structured delivery frameworks and governance models.
Desirable
• Experience working with Infor ERP solutions (e.g., CloudSuite or equivalent enterprise platforms).
• Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD environments and continuous testing practices.
• Experience in data migration and integration testing within ERP programmes.

Key Skills & Attributes
• Clear and confident communicator (written and verbal).
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Resilient and solution-oriented when dealing with complex issues.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

If you are aiming for a role in cloud computing, it can feel like the skills list never ends. One job advert asks for AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes. Another mentions Azure DevOps, PowerShell and ARM templates. A third throws in Docker, Python, Linux, CI/CD, monitoring tools and security frameworks. It is no surprise that many cloud job seekers feel overwhelmed before they even apply. Here is the reality most cloud hiring managers agree on: they are not hiring you because you know every cloud tool. They are hiring you because you understand cloud concepts, can design reliable systems, manage costs, keep things secure and support real workloads. Tools matter, but only when they support outcomes. So how many cloud computing tools do you actually need to know to get a job? For most roles, the answer is far fewer than you think. This article explains what employers really expect, which tools are essential, which are role-specific, and how to focus your learning so you look capable and employable rather than scattered.
