What You’ll Do

Review and analyse business and functional requirements to create clear, structured test plans and cases.

Execute tests across multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop, API).

Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.

Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, system, and exploratory testing.

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle.

Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning to provide QA insights.

Assist with test data creation and environment setup.

Provide detailed test execution reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

2+ years’ experience as a Test Analyst, QA Tester, or similar role.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile or waterfall environments.

Desirable:

Experience testing APIs (Postman).

Familiarity with SQL and database validation.

Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress).

ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
