Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager – Global Trading Technology

Ncounter is hiring a hybrid Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager to join a high-performance technology team delivering complex trading solutions across global markets. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping products that underpin real-time financial decision-making, working across engineering, research, and infrastructure groups.

Where you’ll make an impact
You’ll either join the analysis team, acting as the key translator between business goals and technical implementation, or take the reins on end-to-end project delivery—depending on your expertise and focus.

If you’re Business Analysis focused, you will:

  • Capture and refine detailed business and technical requirements

  • Translate complex problems into structured, executable plans

  • Write clear and concise documentation for cross-functional teams

  • Align stakeholders across time zones and disciplines

    If you're delivery-led, you'll:

  • Own the project lifecycle from scoping through to implementation

  • Build and manage roadmaps with clear milestones and risk tracking

  • Ensure clarity and momentum across globally distributed teams

  • Deliver regular project updates to senior stakeholders

    What you’ll bring

  • 5–10 years in financial technology, including hands-on experience as a Technical BA or PM

  • Solid grounding in the SDLC—Agile or Waterfall

  • Comfort working with data-driven systems (Python or KDB+/q experience a plus)

  • Experience in trading environments and understanding of financial instruments

  • Sharp communication and problem-solving skills across business and engineering

  • Bonus points for exposure to APIs, distributed systems, and modern cloud architectures
