Location: UK-wide (hybrid with client-site travel as required)

A respected and fast-growing UK consultancy is looking for experienced Solution Architect Consultants to support major transformation and capability programmes within the National Security, Defence, and Space sectors. Operating at the heart of some of the UK’s most critical missions, this organisation helps secure the country’s future through technical expertise, strategic thinking, and high-integrity delivery.

As a Solution Architect, you will work across a wide range of programmes - defining secure, scalable architectures for systems that matter. From modernising digital platforms to integrating cloud-native services and enabling mission systems, you’ll combine hands-on technical leadership with a consulting mindset. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, working across Business, Application, Data and Infrastructure domains, often in sensitive and high-assurance environments.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years in solution or enterprise architecture, ideally in secure or mission-critical domains.

• Strong grasp of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, ArchiMate) and modelling methods such as BPMN or UML.

• Experience designing and delivering secure systems, with awareness of DevSecOps, Agile, and CI/CD practices.

• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, with prior consulting or client-facing experience.

• STEM degree (or equivalent), and eligibility for UK security clearance (SC or DV); active clearance is a bonus.

• Familiarity with Defence, National Security, Law Enforcement, or Space programmes is highly advantageous.
