We're looking for a forward-thinking Hands-on Software Engineering Manager to head up a talented group behind a high-traffic eCommerce platform used by hundreds of thousands of customers every year. This platform is mission-critical and sits at the heart of ambitious digital growth plans - so we need someone who can lead with clarity, energy, and vision.

If you thrive in fast-paced, customer-centric environments and love empowering engineers to do their best work, this could be the perfect fit.

What you'll be doing:

Own the technical direction and delivery of a key digital platform.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of React and .NET engineers to build exceptional user journeys.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to shape and deliver roadmap priorities.
Drive engineering best practices across multiple teams and disciplines.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and shared learning.
Solve complex technical challenges and ensure platform reliability at scale.
Balance user experience, performance, and long-term tech vision in delivery.

What you'll bring:

5+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
A proven track record in delivering high-volume, transactional digital platforms.
Strong background with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
Passion for coaching and mentoring engineers to help them reach their potential.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
The ability to influence product decisions through technical insight and strategic thinking.
