Software Engineer (C# / Azure) - Must be eligible for SC Clearance
Location: Newport - Hybrid 1 day a week onsite minimum - flexible hours
Salary: £50,000 - £57,000 (DOE)
Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

This role involves working with a wide range of technologies and services from secure APIs to scalable cloud applications while gaining valuable experience in agile delivery, DevOps and cloud architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and building modern applications using C#, Python and Microsoft Azure
Working with QA engineers and product teams to define and meet technical requirements
Investigating and resolving issues across development and production systems
Contributing to cloud architecture, API design and system scalability
Supporting continuous improvement through agile, DevOps and secure coding practices

What We're Looking For

Strong experience with C#
Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure
Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps and modern DevOps practices
Understanding of APIs, microservices and secure software design
Bonus if you have experience working in a regulated or high-security environment
