AI & Workflow Automation

Innovative business leader in Automation Technology is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join their growing team. The software will simplify complex business processes using AI driven automation.

Their tech stack includes PHP with Symfony,Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and MySQL/MariaDB

Your responsibilities:

Write clean, efficient code using PHP (Symfony framework), JavaScript, and Python
Design, build, and maintain functionality for the workflow automation platform.
Enhance backend services, optimise database queries, and expand RESTful APIs
Work with SQL databases to manage and optimise data flow and handle reporting.
Integrating AI technologies for intelligent business automation - handle integrations including telephony, speech-to-text, AI-driven responses, and text-to-speech synthesis
Engage in deployment processes, Docker containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain configurations and troubleshoot production issues as necessary.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve platform performance
Contribute ideas for new features and AI-driven improvementsYou will have great experience working on large B2B SaaS applications with complex architecture, experience in developing different features of an application along with client facing skills.

Your technical background

Strong experience in PHP (Symfony framework) with Doctrine ORM for database management, and proficiency in Node.js (Express, WebSockets) and JavaScript.
Proven experience integrating AI or machine learning APIs
Telephony & Messaging APIs: Hands-on experience with platforms that allow managing voice calls, webhooks, SMS, and real-time media streams.
Web & Cloud Services: APIs, RESTful/OAuth integrations.
Databases: MySQL/MariaDB, Redis.
DevOps: Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Linux server administration.
Frontend: HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery/Stimulus, Bootstrap or TailwindAdditional experience in Conversational AI and NLP, Machine learning, and automation / workflow management preferred

This role will predominantly be remote with monthly meetings in the Liverpool area
