Software Engineer – Hybrid (2 days a week, North Manchester)
£40–45k + modern tech + real impact

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who’s not just here to code whatever drops into their inbox — you’ll be shaping how things are built, making calls on the best approach, and seeing the results of your work out in the wild.

The setup:

Hybrid – 2 days a week in the North Manchester office

35-hour week (yes, really)

*

Proper Agile, no “we’re agile but really waterfall” nonsense

*

Tech stack worth talking about

What you’ll be doing:

Designing and building new features that actually get used

*

Working across back-end and front-end depending on where the value is

*

Collaborating with BAs, other devs, and stakeholders who actually listen

*

Suggesting and delivering improvements (process, tools, tech – if it’s better, we’ll try it)

*

Keeping the codebase clean, maintainable, and moving forward

You’ll need:

*

Solid C#/.NET skills (Framework & Core)

*

Web API experience

*

SQL that’s more than just “SELECT *”

*

JavaScript & TypeScript know-how

*

HTML/CSS/SASS skills

*

Git for version control

*

Exposure to Azure and CI/CD pipelines

Bonus points for WPF, containers, React/Next.js, or unit testing chops – but not deal-breakers.
