Mission Focused Software Consultancy (Central Gov)
£70,000 - £90,000 + Private Healthcare + Annual L&D Budget + More
Bristol or Cheltenham Office Location (hybrid working with bi-weekly client site visits)
 
SR2 are supporting a long-term software consultancy client of ours, who are continuing the growth of their tech teams to support impactful projects within central Government.
What makes them different to most consultancies, is the amount of flexibility they offer – we are ideally looking for a Software Solution Architect based in Bristol or Cheltenham, giving you the option to come in the office as much or as little as you decide – you’ll also need to be able to travel 2 times per month to a customer in London (expenses covered). They also offer flexible working hours, meaning you can have a healthy work/life balance.

About the role:

As a Software Solution Architect within the team, you’ll be working on a fast-paced Agile project where you are encompassing DevOps techniques to build exciting and impactful apps for their central Gov customer.
This is very much a leading role in the team, so experience of taking more of a lead on projects will be a must.
You will be overseeing the full lifecycle and ensuring full stack software solutions are implemented following best practices.

Technical skills needed:

Highly experienced in defining technical architectures, solutions, business requirements
Making sure the team is following bet agile practices (Scrum & Kanban)
Liaising with customers, communicating and offering consultancy support whilst assisting them with the technology they need to solve problems
Experienced in deploying systems within Cloud environments (AWS and Azure_)
Highly capable of managing customer relationships
