Our client, a leader in the space sector, is seeking a Senior Software Validation Engineer to join their team. This permanent role is essential in ensuring the quality and performance of critical aerospace systems, contributing directly to the advancement of space exploration technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and own the system test plan in collaboration with development and test teams
Investigate the root causes of test case failures and provide corrective action in conjunction with development teams
Support the validation of chipsets by verifying functional and performance metrics
Execute, develop, and plan system tests, contributing to the evolution of product quality
Support test management tools and continuous integration methodologies
Compile regular test execution summary reports with metrics

Job Requirements:

Batchelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic or Computer Science Engineering
Experience in testing telecommunication or satellite systems
Experience in system testing, preferably with exposure to non-GUI testing
Proficiency in planning, estimating, and developing system tests
Familiarity with DevOps, Jenkins, Docker containers, and automation test frameworks
Experience with test management software
Knowledge of defect tracking and knowledge management software (Atlassian JIRA and Confluence preferred)
Understanding of testing methodologies
Proficiency in operating RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers, VNAs, power meters, etc.
Proven programming experience in an automated test environment (C/C++/Python, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of RF fundamentals and communications theory
Independent, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking
