Senior Software Engineer, Python, Django, ReactJS, JavaScript, PHP, Mainly Remote, Central London

Senior Software Engineer (Python, Django, ReactJS) required to work for a fast growing and exciting business based in Central London. However, this role is mainly remote.

We need an experienced Python Developer who is a good people person, working with client facing teams outside of Technology, and also mentoring more junior members of the team across Europe. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop and deliver end-to-end features across the stack

  • Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions for new features and systems

  • Analyse and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and provide feedback to peers during code reviews

  • Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding

  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

  • Collaborate effectively with distributed team members across multiple time zones, including offshore development teams

  • Build relationships and foster team cohesion across geographical and cultural boundaries.

    Experience required:

  • Expert Python/Django developer with full-stack capability (ReactJS, JavaScript, PHP)

  • Skilled in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment best practices

  • Solid experience with AWS cloud services and modern web infrastructure

  • Familiar with distributed systems (RabbitMQ, Celery) and caching (Redis)

  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and own end-to-end feature delivery
