.NET Core & Azure DevOps Modernisation | 2pdw in office | Flexible Culture | Agile Scrum

Ada Meher is partnered on a search with a leading FinTech business with offices on Deansgate as they recruit an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join them as they undergo a modernisation project from a legacy monolith to cloud-based microservice architecture.
The business uses Agile Scrum methodology so are looking for a candidate with experience working in scrum teams and who is comfortable working using Agile concepts for estimation of tickets, sprint planning, burn down charts & velocity etc. There is no expectation that a candidate should have prior formal Team Lead experience, but there will be an opportunity to step into that role.

As a hybrid employer, this business is set up to support remote and flexible working allowing their employees to get the most out of home life whilst also contributing to the success of the team. They ask for an office presence 2dpw, to collaborate with the team in person.

To Be Considered:

Strong experience with ASP.NET and .NET Core 8
Experience working with Azure DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines
Experience working with microservice architectures and cloud deployments
A strong understanding of Agile delivery and associated tasks/metrics
Experience with JavaScript/Typescript
The client are at the very start of an exciting new chapter in their development, following the acquisition of the business by an equity group. They are looking to overhaul the current platforms to the latest technologies & standards before then progressing their products down a strategic roadmap into a full SaaS offering.

As such, they are looking for individuals who seek a long-term opportunity to grow with the business as they achieve this, with progression pathways into Lead and Head of roles available longer term for the right candidate.
